it's official

I am now one of those mad keen online geeks that likes to post many blogs a day and label themselves a "writer" except that i don't call myself a writer. i'm just interested in keeping everyone up to date the random babble of my brain and soon enough you'll be searching "antlers" on google, hoping to find a wikipedia submission on your favourite part of a deer only to realise that it's just another weirdo who has figured out how to use blogspot.

anyway, as a first blog i think i'm doing pretty well on the nonsense radar so far (touch wood). an introduction maybe. i am anna louise. i will not state my last name, it is not one that i adore however it is also not a bad last name and it is of no importance to you i am sure. i am not the tallest of heights however i am quite content with my size. i love winter because i am always at a comfortable temperature. i can be satisfied by the simplest of things, a good winters day spent indoors with a cup of camomile tea and an over sized sweater, my morning coffee or the completion of a wonderful book. i'm interested in visual art and music, reading, good films, current affairs and human rights. i have many favourite musicians; Regina Spektor, Angus and Julia Stone, Ben Harper, CocoRosie, Death Cab For Cutie, Coldplay, Goldfrapp, Jackson Jackson, The Cat Empire, Jeff Buckley, Kate Nash, Josh Pyke, Lior, Missy Higgins, New Order, Radiohead, Sarah Blasko, The Beatles, The White Stripes, The Wombats and The Grates. my heroes are the beautiful Regina Spektor and the inspirational Nelson Mandela. favourite authors, Markus Zusak -The Book Thief is the most amazing piece of literature i have ever laid my eyes upon-, Harper Lee, Jane Austen, Janet Evanovich, Lewis Carroll. the most magnificent film ever made is magnolia.

Also, i have to mention the wonderful Sarah McNeil (above) who is an amazing artist. Her work is fantastic and i adore her characters. http://sarahmcneil.blogspot.com/ i definitely recommend her work.

Last thing. This is my cousin Vivien. She is nine years old (ten this year) and i love her dearly and i want everyone who reads this to admire her because she is magnificent.
have a fabulous weekend, The End.
